To begin creating your first Nudge campaign please go to “Manage” and choose “Nudges” to access the “Nudges Menu”:

The Nudges Menu consists of the following parts:

  • New Nudge campaign
  • Dashboard
  • Nudges campaigns
  • Nudges leads

Please click on “New Nudge campaign “to create the campaign:

 

There are 2 steps in Nudge Campaign creation: 

  1. Customize 
  2. Display & Capture

Let’s look at each of them separately.

CUSTOMIZE

Here we create the campaign name, select the type of nudges to display, their design, text, and also the way they will be displayed on the site. 

To begin with, please enter the Name of the Campaign. 

IMPORTANT: there is an unlimited number of campaigns that can be created, so make sure they have distinguished names, this way it will be easier for you to search for them and check the statistics.

 

The “Customize” section is divided into two parts, in the first part you chose the types of nudges to display and in the second one (“Customize Nudges view”) you configure the display of the nudges selected as well as some other settings that we will describe latter. 

So, when you added the name of your campaign it is time to choose the nudges you want to display. 

There are 4 types of Nudge campaigns:

  1. SOCIAL PROOF – the nudges that track and display the real actions of other visitors on the website (visiting the site / or a particular page, registering, adding products to the cart and any other actions by filling the forms of the website).
  2. SALES - the dynamic type of nudges which displays your website visitors the real actions taken by the customers of your online store, purchasing goods or adding them to the cart for example.
  3. CUSTOM – these nudges do not show real dynamic actions of the website visitors. There is a number of templates with pre-installed text and icons to choose from.  They can be added to the list and edited for your campaigns.
  4. MESSAGE – the type of nudges which imitates the manager’s appeal to the visitor and redirects his attention to the specific website part or pop-up form with a specific offer.


IMPORTANT: the number of nudges per campaign is unlimited.


The first thing you need to do is to create the List of Nudges in order of appearance:


By dragging the arrows, you can set the order of nudge appearance on the website, the higher the nudge is in the list, the earlier it will appear on the website within a certain campaign:

 

All the Nudge types have different settings when it comes to adding them to the list and editing.

So please read our corresponding articles to learn more about each type. 

When you created the list of your nudges and edited them, you can now proceed to “Customize Nudges view” which is similar to all nudge types. Here you configure the Timing and Display settings as well as Nudge Onclick Settings

Once all of this is done please “Go to Display & Capture “to proceed and save the changes:

 

DISPLAY & CAPTURE

This is the second step in Nudge campaign creation. The “Display settings” are divided into 4 main parts:
 

  1. Display settings
  2. Capture settings
  3. Advanced settings (Target your audience)

These settings allow you to define the pages where the campaign will be shown (or vice versa will not be visible) as well as where you want to “catch” the visitors and display the collecting data form for the Nudge campaign. The “Advanced settings” will target the audience of your campaign.
