Please let me remind you that there are 2 steps in Nudge Campaign creation:

  1. Customize
  2. Display & Capture

When you are done with the Nude “Customize” part it is time to apply the “Display settings”. These settings allow you to define the pages where the campaign will be shown (or vice versa will not be visible) as well as where you want to “catch” the visitors and display the collecting data form for the Nudge campaign. The “Advanced settings” will target the audience of your campaign.

The “Display settings” are divided into 3 main parts:

  1. Display settings
  2. Capture settings
  3. Advanced settings (Target your audience)

DISPLAY SETTINGS

Where would you like to DISPLAY this campaign?

This setting allows you to define the pages where the campaign will be shown (or vice versa will not be visible)

IMPORTANTIf the setting “Display only on specific pages” is disabled, the campaign will be shown on all pages of the active website.

If the “Display only on specific pages” is ON the following options are available:

  • URL is - in this field you need to put the exact link where the campaign will be displayed;
  • URL is not - in the field you need to put the exact link where the campaign will NOT be displayed;
  • URL includes - in this field you can put any part of the link where we want to show the campaign, catalog or services, for example, this means that the campaign will be shown only on the website pages with the content of these words;
  • URL does not include - the same setting as above, just the other way around, you can put here part of the link from the pages where we do not want to show the campaign.

IMPORTANT:

*Many options can be set at the same time.

*This is the fully qualified URL. If you select "includes", it can match any part of the URL, but "is" must exactly match what shows up in the browser.

CAPTURE SETTINGS

How would you like to CAPTURE conversions?

 IMPORTANT:

*This campaign is capturing form submits on all website pages by default (if «Capture only from specific pages» is turned OFF)

*If you are NOT using «Conversions by period» & «Recent conversion» Social Proof type Nudges in this campaign, you can skip this "Capture settings".

*The "Capture settings" do NOT apply, if you are using Sales Nudge(s) («Product purchase» & «Cart adding») in this campaign.

If “Capture only from specific pages” is enabled there are the following options to choose from:

  • URL is – in this field you need to put the exact link where you want to display the conversion;
  • URL is not - in this field you need to put the exact link where you do not want to display the conversion;
  • URL includes –in this field you can put any part of the link, where exactly you need to display conversions, for example, “catalog” or “services”, it means that the campaign will show conversions only from the pages with the entered characters in the link;
  • URL does not include –the same setting as above, only the other way around. In this field you can put any part of the link, where we do not want to show conversions.

*Many options can be set at the same time.

*This is the fully qualified URL. If you select "includes", it can match any part of the URL, but "is" must exactly match what shows up in the browser.

IMPORTANT: If your website page where the data is taken from for the conversion is on a sub-domain, for example, app.yoursite.com/signup, and you want to display statistics from this page, then make sure to add Boostools code to this page as well.

ADVANCED SETTINGS

These settings allow you to be more precise when targeting your audience.

IMPORTANT: the Nudge campaign will be shown one time per visitor’s session, when ALL the “turned on” conditions are applied.

The “Advanced settings” include:

  • Returning or new visitors- the setting makes it possible to choose which visitors to show the campaign, to the visitors who came for the first time or the returning ones. When the setting is disabled, the campaign will be shown to all the visitors.
  • UTM based display- here the UTM tags are set which activate the campaign. It means that if you add (in the link the visitor entered with) the Tags set in the fields below the active campaign will be shown. This setting is useful to display the relevant forms to visitors that come from different marketing campaigns such as PPC adds or web push campaigns and others.
  • Based on specific cookies- this display condition is based on the various data of the Cookies browser; it works the same way as “Display only on specific pages”.
  • Display to visitors that came from- the form will pop up when the visitor comes from certain sources that can be set in the fields, for example «youtube.com», «amazon.com». The setting works the same way as “Display only on specific pages”.
  • Geolocation- the campaign will be shown only to the visitors from certain countries, or vice versa, it will not be available for the countries you exclude from the list.
  • Campaign Timetable- here you can set the campaign start and end dates, as well as choose your time zone.

After setting up the “Display & Capture” settings, do not forget to click the “Save” button to activate the campaign on the website or launch it according to the scheduled date, if this option is set .
